Supporting all students
As part of its commitment to student welfare, the Wagga Wagga Catholic Schools Office contracts Centacare to provide school counselling at our school.
St Joseph’s has access to a school counsellor through Centacare in Albury. The counsellor visits our school once a fortnight and they are available to work with children in a range of areas including grief and loss, emotional, anger management, self-esteem, assertiveness and bullying.

Our Bus Services
We monitor daily changes to student travel arrangements and make every effort to notify our families of delays and cancellations.
For children, it is imperative that notes are sent if changes to normal routine occur. Young children become disconcerted and confused very easily. We will always monitor and supervise children as they board buses.
Before and After School Pick-Up Point
Parents are requested to deliver and pick up their children from the Denison Street entrance near the Church, as the Coree Street entrance is used by the buses. Children walking home from school have a teacher taking them across Coree Street, and are still supervised at the Dension Street crossing.
