Uniform Policy

The boys and girls at St Joseph’s wear the uniform endorsed by the parents of our school. It is a practical and attractive uniform that we can be proud to wear. The cooperation of all groups within our community is required in maintaining a high standard of dress. Our uniform is not a fashion statement so variations can defeat its purpose.
 
We see it as the parents’ responsibility to ensure their children are provided with and wear the uniform as detailed below. The children are responsible for maintaining and caring for their uniform in keeping with the high standards expected. Staff are responsible for encouraging correct wearing and due care of uniforms while children are in attendance.
 
Part of our summer uniform is the hat. A school issue hat is to be worn outdoors during terms one and four.
